LinkedIn Experiences Global Outage

LinkedIn, a popular social media platform, is currently facing a widespread outage that has affected users worldwide. The outage, which began around 3:40 p.m. ET, has led to tens of thousands of complaints on platforms such as X and Facebook.

According to reports from Netblocks, LinkedIn is down in multiple countries, indicating that this is a global issue. This outage follows significant outages experienced by other platforms like Facebook and Instagram, which were both inaccessible for several hours on Tuesday.

Individuals attempting to access LinkedIn from the U.S. are encountering an error message that directs them to the platform’s Help Center. However, clicking on the provided links does not lead to any useful information, as the LinkedIn domain remains inaccessible.

The Help Center page currently displays an error message stating, “Unable to locate the server; the server does not have a DNS entry.” This error message suggests a technical issue preventing users from accessing the platform.

Various theories have emerged on social media regarding the cause of the LinkedIn outage, including conspiracy theories commonly associated with such incidents. Despite speculation, the exact reason for the outage remains unclear.

Even reputable sources like Merriam-Webster’s official Twitter account have commented on the situation, further adding to the intrigue surrounding the outage. LinkedIn, when reached for comment, directed users to their official Status Page for updates on the ongoing issue.
